Water Wonderland is an award-winning chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a non-profit
organization whose member chapters are committed to preserving and promoting barbershop
style singing through education and performance.

Members come from as far away as Kalamazoo, Lake Odessa, DeWitt, & Leslie, and as
nearby as Lansing & Okemos. Some of us may even live near you! We bring with us a wide
variety of musical background and experience and are always eager to welcome new members
to our chorus family.

The chorus performs in four-part a cappella harmony with a repertoire that includes pop standards,
Broadway show tunes, spirituals, patriotic anthems, and traditional barbershop "chord-busters."
We continually seek to add new, contemporary music to our repertoire.

Chapter membership is open to women aged 13 and above who love to sing. You will have the
opportunity to learn new vocal techniques, master basic choreography, and increase your musical
repertoire. Then imagine the joy of sharing what you have learned with enthusiastic audiences
that enjoy listening as much as you enjoy performing.

Although we do offer membership "classes" periodically throughout the year, it is not necessary to
participate in one to join. We accept members all year long.

We rehearse every Tuesday night at the Chippewa Middle School in Okemos.

1) Our chapter show has been tentatively rescheduled to Oct. 13, pending site approval.
2) Our next membership initiative is in the planning stage.
