QUARTETS


Quarteting
is another way to enjoy the fun and friendship of four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style! Some quartets form to compete, while others come together to sing for fun. All enjoy sharing their love of singing every chance they get!

Water Wonderland currently has 3 quartets blending their voices in song.

High Fidelity was formed through a happy accident when chorus members Paula Hoffman, Chari Smith, Laura Olson, and Elizabeth Johnson volunteered to sing on a radio broadcast to promote the Water Wonderland Chorus "Be a Diva" membership program in October 2006. From the first time they sang together, they knew they were meant to sing together. Hi-Fi members are: Paula Hoffman (lead), Chari Smith (bass), Laura Olson (baritone), and Elizabeth Johnson (tenor).

Though not performing regularly these days, they continue to get together from time to time to ring chords on chorus shows and/or other special occasions.

Belle Chords

Belle Chords competed for the first time together at the Sweet Adeline Region 2 Competition held in Dearborn, Michigan on April 8, 2011, entertaining the audience with ringing chords as clear as the bell from which they took their name. Members are: Kathryn Summers (baritone), Paula Hoffman (lead), Sandy Clark (bass), and Elizabeth Johnson (tenor). Heat Wave

Heat Wave is the most recent addition to our chorus quartets and had their debut performance on our Annual Show, "Spring Fling," held in the Chippewa Middle School Auditorium on March 19, 2011, adding to the fun by turning the final strains of their rendition of I Don't Know Why over to the chorus to close with a bit of dancing before they took their final bow. Always ready to try something new, Heat Wave members are: Regan Johnson (baritone), Reta Corr (lead), Barbara Wheeler (bass), and Caralie Rieder (tenor).
