The Water Wonderland Chorus, chartered in 1972, is an award-winning chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a non-profit organization whose member chapters are committed to "preserving and promoting barbershop style singing through education and performance."

The chorus performs in four-part a cappella harmony with a repertoire that includes pop standards, spirituals, patriotic anthems, Broadway show tunes, and traditional barbershop "chordbusters." We continually seek to add new, contemporary music to our repertoire.

Chapter membership is open to women aged 18 and above who love to sing. You will learn new vocal techniques, master basic choreography, and increase your musical repertoire. Then imagine the joy of sharing what you have learned with enthusiastic audiences that enjoy listening as much as you enjoy performing.

Members come from as far away as Lake Odessa, DeWitt, & Holt and as nearby as Okemos, Haslett, East Lansing & Lansing. Some of us may even live near you!

We come from all walks of life and bring with us a wide variety of musical background and experience. We are always eager to welcome new members to our chorus family.

Although we do offer membership "classes" periodically throughout the year, it is not necessary to participate in one to join. We accept members all year long.
